Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most famous role was that of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career with Chicago-area theaters for a short time. After that, she switched to television and film. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she appeared as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was not until the end of the 1990s when she landed an acting role on The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood were also the highlights of her work. Gunn appeared on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, a four-part audio series that was released set in 2022. The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and eventually its demise similar to the arc that was Walter White's final days of his life.
